With the sudden shift to distance learning\, schools and educa tors have scrambled to creatively support complex learners with diverse ne eds. They have adapted their communication to families\, transitioned IEP meetings to virtual conferencing\, and ensured their learners are still ab le to receive their services through tele-therapy. However\, it is also im perative for educators to adapt their instruction to create inclusive\, ac cessible learning environments for their learners\, just as they would in a physical classroom.
\n\nThis webinar will focus on these practices and how learners with variability can access and thrive in the distance l earning context. During this session\, participants will dive into researc h-based strategies and UDL principles that they can embed in their instruc tion. We will explore the Learner Variability Navigator’s research-based strategies that teachers can use in the classroom and also adapt for onli ne learning and build teacher “workspaces” using those strategies and other material. They will walk away with free resources and concrete ways to address learner variability in their classrooms in the fall.
