ULI Executive Board: Conducting Officer Elections
Officer elections must be conducted in accordance with the AFT constitution and the standards set out by the Labor-Management Reporting and Disclosure Act. This lesson will guide you through the steps of conducting an officer election.
ULI Executive Board: Fiscal Responsibility and Records Retention
Union officers have a duty to manage the funds and property of the union solely for the benefit of the union and its members in accordance with the union’s constitution and bylaws. This lesson will cover the financial controls necessary to assure fiscal integrity.

The executive board has the collective responsibility to provide vision and direction. It is up to the leadership team to look ahead, set goals to create a stronger, more effective union and develop a plan to make it happen. By the end of this lesson, you will be able to:
