Locals are typically gearing up now to send participants to the AFT’s signature Summer Educator Academy. But, given the times we are in, we recently canceled the face-to-face version of this year’s SEA. Since making this decision, the Professional Development team has been designing online versions of SEA sessions for members. We will be offering a series ranging from workshops to full courses starting with Session I:
Train the Trainer Courses
Strategies for Student Success: Rethinking Teaching and Learning
PSRP: Interacting with Students—Minimizing Unintended Consequences
Informing Instruction: Linking the Assessment Process to Teaching and Learning
Participant-Only Courses

ELL 101—Special Virtual Edition—Planning for the Success of ELLs
