Prior approval by the AFT is required for arrival earlier than the dates specified below.

Arrival

  • Delivering Effective Professional Development (DEPD) The DEPD course will begin on Wednesday, July 17, at 9 a.m. Academy facilitators and participants should arrive on Tuesday, July 16.
  • All participants are required to take the DEPD mini-course. The Delivering Effective Professional Development course has been revised and is a prerequisite for ALL participants attending SEA 2019. Participants will be given pre-academy assignments, which are to be completed before the academy begins. All SEA participants will be required to take this course.
  • All Strand Courses
    All courses begin on Wednesday, July 17, at 1 p.m. Academy facilitators and participants should arrive on Tuesday, July 16.

 

Departure

  • All strand courses will end on Wednesday, July 24, at 12 p.m.  Plan to depart no earlier than 2 p.m. unless there are no reasonable flights available.
