We have arranged several excursions for your enjoyment which will involve a fee, so you may want to bring some extra cash (although the Maritime Institute has an ATM machine). The excursions are:
- A visit to Arundel Mills Mall, is scheduled for Friday, July 19, between 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. and the shuttle fare is $5 roundtrip. Shuttle will pick up twice from the Maritime and the mall.
- A bus tour of Washington, D.C., on Saturday, July 20 from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m., which will be limited to 55 participants and costs $40 each, payable at the time of sign-up.
- Karaoke and Class Skits are scheduled for Tuesday evening, July 23.

- Choose Summer Educator Academy 2019.
- Click on Already Registered? You will need to enter your email address and confirmation number (this number is on your emailed registration confirmation or you can choose to have your confirmation number emailed to you).
- Once logged into your record, click on Modify.
- You can also make a credit card payment online.

On Your Own
- The Baltimore Inner Harbor can be reached by the light rail or a brief cab ride. The following links provide information on the harbor: Inner-Harbor or Harbor-Place
- Hoyts Cinema is about a 10-minute walk from the Maritime Institute. Movie tickets will be raffled at the opening session and are to be used on your own time.

You and your colleagues might want to look into the cost of a rental car, although the AFT cannot reimburse you for this expense.
